On October 22, 1989 Jacob Wetterling was last seen at approximately 9:00 p.m. He was with his brother and another friend when they were threatened at gunpoint by an unknown individual. Jacob has a mole on his left cheek, a mole on his neck and a scar on his knee.

The Minnesota BCA, Stearns Co. Sheriff’s Office, FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children launched a new billboard campaign to help find Jacob.

 

October 29, 2014

In support of on-going efforts to find Jacob Wetterling, the Tri-County Crime Stoppers will be raising the reward for information that leads to the arrest and charging of the person(s) involved in the disappearance of Jacob from our standard reward level of "up to $1000" to our enhanced reward level of "up to $5000." 

***This enhanced reward will be offered for a period of 3 months.***

Authorities may have found the remains of Jacob Wetterling and are currently having them tested.
